Beach Fun! |CT & Long Island Family Photography|Lexi-Bella Photography

Photographing a photographers family; what is that like you ask? Much like a normal session except the normal little “tricks” and sounds don’t work for those kids! So what does a photographer want from their session, well, for me I just want a good old photograph full of LOVE, SPIRIT and emotion! oh yeah, a little eye contact wouldn’t hurt either {wink}

I had the pleasure of photographing Allegra and her family, of Allegra Studio based out of Lynchburg VA out on Long Beach, NY! What a fun session filled with warm summer memories of chasing seagulls, dancing in the surf and long walks on the shoreline that dances and shimmered in the setting August sun.

Allegra It was a pleasure meeting you and your family! I hope these images bring you back to this warm summer day as you dance with “M” in the water and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life!

We’ll start out with one of my favorite family shots! Not your typical idea of a family portrait but I LOVE IT!

Those EYES! Remind me of sweet dark honey flecked with gold! What a beautiful little girl with a spirit wiser than her years! I expect GREAT things from this one! She is a TRUE JOY!

LOVE on so many levels!

I LOVE the way she looks at you Allegra! With such love and admiration!

Thanks for letting me capture your beautiful family, connections and bonds!

Alert|CT & Long Island Newborn Photography|Lexi-Bella Photography

Seriously, at 3 days old this little guy was SOOOOO alert! So alert he didn’t want to sleep! But the AMAZING part was his eye contact. Just talking to him he would focus so intently on you it was AMAZING at such a young age!

I really love focusing on all the little details that as mothers we so treasure! The wrinkly pink little feet, fuzzy little ears and teeny tiny finger nails that are so scary to clip! It’s crazy how in 6 short little weeks this tiny creature will seem like a whole different person.

Meet baby “M” debuting at under 72 hours old and “hanging out” like a *Rockstar*!

The details……

I loved his feet, he had the longest little toes!

Sweet little smile……

Some of my most FAVORITE sibling shots. Meet big sister “P”!

Check out the AMAZING eye contact! Remember this little guy is less than 72 hours old!

To the “C” family; it was a pleasure hanging out with you guys and sharing a few hours together during these precious few days! Enjoy him!

Iron-Man|CT & Long Island Children Photography|Lexi-Bella Photography

Well he may want to be Iron-Man when he grows up but really this little one has the heart of a LION!

Sweet, gentle and charismatic are just a few words to describe C. the youngest of the “G” family!

I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with them hiking on a gorgeous nature preserve and just letting them, be “them”!

I love watching other families and how they interact, there is always one member that is the “glue” and usually its one of the parents but this family is unique and really their little universe revolves around sweet little C;  the glue of the G family!

HEARTBREAKER!!

There is nothing like a bond between a mother and her child; makes me melt!

He’s ALWAYS RUNNING!!!! EVERYWHERE……….

The gorgeous big sisters!

And a little sibling fun!

And because its SO IMPORTANT to always remember that the foundation of family is built on loving parents!

GORGEOUS, Yes, “L” you are stunning and the love that you both share just *Radiates* from your heart!

Sisterly bonds……

This may be my all time FAVORITE family shot! It is the PERFECT depiction of sweet little “C” who really is the center of this family. Notice how he is held by both his parents yet he reaches out to both his sisters creating a “Complete circle of connection” between the family. This wasn’t posed, just his natural reaction.

*Breathtaking*

To the G family, it was so nice meeting you all and spending time with you as a family! “L” I’ve always admired you as a professional and a mother and “C” is a beautiful example of your gentle caring heart. I hope one day, if I ever have a boy that his heart be as gentle and warm and “C”!
