Sugar & Spice| Connecticut & Long Island Child Photographer| Lexi-Bella Photography

April 20, 2011

Probably one of the hardest things for a photographer is to photograph your own child, it’s a whole other ball game or so to speak. Miss. Lexi-Bella, Hmmmm…. what can I say about her. She is a free spirit, a bit ungrounded, ok, A LOT ungrounded but that’s ok she’s 2! There is something about her, not because she’s mine but something unique. She radiates light in the most beautiful way and much like me she wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s spirited, VERY spirited, also much like me! She can read people and their emotions easily and has a heart of gold. She also likes things done in a VERY particular way, her way! She gets this from Robert, :-)

When I’m in a creative rut she is who I turn to, since she has, and always will be, one of my greatest inspirations. One late Sunday afternoon, a camera, some clothes and “No Rules” or expectations. The goal, to photograph Miss. “Lexi-Bella” and her “light”, her emotion, her sweetness and sassy side. The processing is a bit different, each one processed individually for a different feel.

This is what we do at Lexi-Bella Photography, we capture light and emotion.

PSA: We DO NOT shoot on live Railroad tracks. We are lucky enough to have access to these tracks which have been out of use for over 30 years!
