What makes you swoon? For me there are a TON of things! Really rich, thick handmade paper preferably with a GORGEOUS monogram letterpressed on it, luxurious fabrics, satin ribbon in eye popping colors, a sweet little newborn with pink pouty lips, a little girl in a tu-tu and much much more ……
But what REALLY makes me swoon???
Meet Mr. LBP himself! I really must give full credit of everything I do to this hunk of mine! Why you ask?? Well, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be a photographer! This is the guy who saw this “gift” in me! Somehow he had an inkling that I’d be good at it, or maybe he was just so tired of seeing me mope around the house whining that, “I don’t know what to do with my life”!!! Oh yeah, there were a lot of days like this ……
Mr. LBP is really the family photographer, well at least HE knows more about photography and the workings of a camera than ANYONE I know! Actually, I think he knows just about everything!!! Really, ask his co-workers! The most common phrase you’ll hear pepople say around him, “Dude, HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS STUFF”?!?!? Literally, about EVERYTHING!!! LOL
Oh yeah, He’s pretty “swoony”; well at least to me, even 10 YEARS later! Hard to imagine! It’s amazing how I can look at him and literally see a reflection of myself! Anyone that knows us knows we are BOTH very passionate about what WE believe in! Leads to some really interesting and heated debates at times but that’s the fun in it right?! But at the end of the day, I know no matter what, I can come to him about ANYTHING and he just gets it! And he can do the same, no words have to be exchanges we just know….
Probably one of my favorite new shots, personal to me because in his glasses  is my reflection! It’s the perfect image of the relationship we have, always reflecting each other!
But the ULTIMATE swoon factor is seeing this ……
