I believe in the power of friendship. That 3 people can meet on an internet chat forum and go through so many of life’s celebrations and challenges and become lifelong friends without ever meeting in person. And that sometimes, events come along that are so SIGNIFICANT,  that these people are finally brought together and it is as if they have always been a part of each others lives.
I believe in the power of women. That we have a deep connection and understanding of one another that only we can understand. That the simple task of putting your friends hair in a pony tail when she is sick and in bed and can’t manage herself is such a selfless act of love and compassion.
I believe in the power of motherhood. That the road to motherhood is a challenging journey that each mother takes filled with twists and turns, bumps and laughter. That experiencing motherhood is so much easier and more fun being surrounded by other mothers experiencing the same journey
But most of all, I believe in *MIRACLES*
This weekend I was able to experience all of the above and it forever changed my heart in the most incredible way. I witnessed more miracles in 36 hours than ever before; such as this little miracle below, at 32 weeks, breathing on his own and touching his father for the first time.
The journey to parenthood is a miracle in itself no matter how you get there. This is a small reminder of how a creature so small and helpless can be so POWERFUL and strong and change the lives of those they touch in so many ways.
Happy Birthday Baby Q, may your life be filled with as many beautiful miracles as I witnessed this weekend! You are destined for GREAT THINGS!
